OBELO
‘I think there is a liberating dimension in objects. Working with physical objects carries the possibility to be surprised by what you are actually doing. The computer always gives a semblance of quality that keeps things at a distance. But continuously producing and dealing with materials allows you to collect products in the studio, that you can find again the day after and that you can turn upside down etc. It is a different approach to do things, in which there is a direct dialogue with matter that determines consequences'.
