‘I am interested in the ambiguity of the image. Indeed, in some cases, I wondered: ‘Is it really important that the object is understood?’ It depends ̶ in a commercial catalogue photo, probably yes. However, I think, less and less, because in fact the important thing is that a person stops and thinks about the image. If this happen, he/she may want to know more about it'.
