COLLECTIONS

'I have a collection of Bohemian glass. Glasses and glassware of Nineteenth century, the Biedermeier. But I collect everything, even bread, flowers, fruits, vegetables. I am observing the ageing of an aubergine. I have had this aubergine for over ten years. Sometimes I look at it, seeing how it changes over time. It becomes another thing. An object. And then I draw it. These things are also found in my drawings, in my paintings, I never stop drawing and painting'.
